You’ll lose me if XEmacs switches to git, I don’t have time to learn a new
VCS. (Well, not that I have time to work on XEmacs anyway, but I still seem
to be committing.)
The advantage of VC is that you can use new version control systems from
within Emacs/XEmacs without needing a clue about the differences.
