I think you should be a bit careful about that, unless it's clear to
the average user how to override it.
For example, the only remaining issue I'm aware of in VM coding
systems is that it still doesn't always correctly handle multilingual
email headers. Currently, this is fairly harmless, because the headers
are actually mime-encoded; however VM tries to cache header data in
its own data header. If this contains non-Latin-1 characters, you get
a coding error on save. Doesn't matter too much, because it's only a
cache, and the worst that happens is you see ~ in the summary.
It matters much less than being a user who happens to get some
multilingual mail for once, and is then unable to save their mailfile!
(This will be fixed in VM, of course, but I haven't got round to
catching up with Uday's workning version - it may even be fixed there
already.)
