For quite a few years ago I got this types of problem with
OO-Browser. The workaround then was to rebuild the environment from
scratch. I never tried to debug it at the time. Seemed hard to solve.

I have started to get stack overflow in bbdb with a recent version of
21.4.14 but that might of course be a pure coincidence.
