On second thought, shouldn't we ditch these symlinks in conformance
with the new policy of not catering to traditional abuses of the file
system hierarchy? We're trying to teach XEmacs to find things where
they are, and do it in a predictable way, so _we_ shouldn't be
polluting the hierarchy in a misguided attempt to "help."
