Random hangs

Andy Piper writes: I just built and updated packages on RH 7.1. I am seeing frequent hangs in the ftp (efs) process. When I look at the ftp buffer its just sitting there trying to download a file. If I hit ^G it starts up again. This latter fact seems to point towards an XEmacs problem rather than slowness in ftp.xemacs.org. Does anyone else see similar behaviour? I see something similar running from windows xemacs 21.1.13. Except that ^G gets tries to signal the ftp process, which doesn't work on windows. -jeff
