GTK 1.2.8 works fine on AIX 4.3.3, as long as you understand fully
some of the 'libtool' breakages. Basically, finding the '-berok'
flag in 'libtool', ripping it out, and then specifying *all* the
libraries needed....
...and Solaris 8's "bonus software" CD includes GTK.
