(scroll-up 1) works fine, but (scroll-up n) for n > 1 sends you all
the way to the end of the file.
Oh, and did I mention that this happens only on the XEmacs I compiled
for SPARC? It works correctly on Intel.
This problem happens when I compile with
cc: Sun C 5.5 Patch 112760-01 2003/05/18
It does *not* happen (i.e. scroll-up works properly) when I compile
with
cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 1 C 5.2 2000/09/11
