On a related note, version 1.41 of the vc package is the
"old"
vc, which is on its way out of the way of the long overdue sync
of vc with GNU Emacs plus some additional utilities, and it's
unlikely that the old one will receive much attention any more at
all. It would be very helpful if you could test the current vc
package from the experimental packages area.
I tried out the new 1.43 from the
pre-release.
Now it seems worse.
- I was used to the menu which poped up in tools-->vc this seems
to be gone
- it seems that the command (I am not sure of its name since I
used it all the time from the menu) vc-visit-older-version is
gone as well.
So I don't now how to proceed other than to downgrade?
