See attached file for details. Hm. Something clearly screwy about my build procedure. It is suppose to rip out the old tree at the root, unpack the tarball, and there should be no .elcs in there. Anyway, it's fixed now, I think. zcat | patch -p, gunzip; applypatch -check, and gunzip; applypatch all did what is expected against the 21.5.4 tarball (patch the tree without error, give no warnings, patch the tree without error). Uploaded to ftp.xemacs.org. Thanks for the report!
