Please be more exact. What is the x in 21.1.x ? Was the 21.2 from CVS?
If the answer is (x > 4) and yes, then please try..
can I assume that your XEmacs didn't die? if so, do you mind telling
me about your system?
so far,
RHL 6.0 with 21.1.2
debian potato with 21.2 (shinjuku)
21.1.7 and 21.2.19 on my system
all system is on Linux with glibc 2.1.2 compiled with various
optimization.
