What is the definition/customization of that face from your custom.el
or init.el?
(custom-set-faces
'(default (
(t (:size "140"
:family "mono"
:background-pixmap "/home/boffi/.icons/squared.xpm"))) t)
; [...]
)
afaict, should i define a separate default face for ttys the bug would
not be triggered
What XEmacs is doing here is clearly a bug,
a new bug, gnuclient -nw presented a bunch of problems but it never
crashed xemacs
but it looks to me like you may have an inappropriate
specification, and XEmacs should be giving a good error message
rather than crashing. :-) Unfortunately what's visible in the
backtrace is not very helpful:
have i to do something special to enable core dumping? (yesterday i
crashed a different app and it dumped core...)
< [...]
((x x-resource) .
"black")
((x x-r"])
LOOKS BROKEN IN TRANSMISSION (what do next 2 spec?) -^
here it is the base64 encoded backtrace
