In order for it to work, you need to redefine the keymap. Probably
the easiest way to guarantee that is to restart XEmacs with the new
code, freshly recompiled, in place. Or you could MAKUNBOUND the
keymap variable, then (load-file "psgml.el") or something.
I have not submitted this as a patch because (a) I don't understand it
well enough to be sure it works right on platforms not #'equal to mine
(that's Martin's specialty), and (b) I prefer not to make changes
without going through the package maintainer. I believe Lennart was
CC'd on the previous thread (if he wasn't that was pretty dumb of us),
and if he hasn't changed it I'd want to check whether he has a reason
first.
Steve Youngs can apply it if he likes. It's his job to coordinate with
the upstream maintainers anyway so I see no problem with that.
