I don't think it always does. I reported this a week ago (screenshot
and everything); have you fixed it? I think I have seen this happen
and stay "stuck" when the tabs change. I've seen a couple of variants
that I haven't been able to duplicate, too. It's time for me to go to
bed, otherwise I'd try to confirm with recent CVS.

I will try to take a look at the tab and general X widget stuff and
see if I can figure out enough to help with the documentation.
