I don't think that's a good idea, unless what you mean is to put a
paragraph like
Your OS distribution (including Cygwin, MacPorts, and Fink)
probably has an XEmacs package. If that suits you, you're all
set! Search for "xemacs" in your package manager.
at the top of the Installation page, and remove all other references
to OS distributions of XEmacs :-). Those distributions are not our
problem, and we don't have enough manpower to stay on top of them
except in some special cases where an XEmacs reviewer or prominent
contributor is maintaining the downstream distribution.
With regards to the suggestions about documentation, feel free to add
them to issue790 or create new issues as you think appropriate.
