:-) You've been at this for a long time. I'm sure you've learned to
control the gag reflex by now.
The API is clean, but it seems to assume that the only widgets that
exist are buttons. I hope that someday we'll have a decent widget
library that handles both native and text widgets. If so, we would
want to get traversal right, and I don't know if button.el would be
compatible with that.
I'd rather put it in fsf-compat for that reason, but my preference
isn't that strong.
That's a good idea. I'll play with it a little more to see if I can
tease any more bugs out of it, then submit it for inclusion in
fsf-compat.
