Unless you do something different when the scripts are run
interactively -vs- noninteractively.
I set up the ls colours if TERM != dumb (which it is in Xsession), but
apart from that there's no difference. ~/.bash_login simply sources
~/.profile, which sources /etc/profile. ~/.bashrc is a symlink to
~/.profile.
