Hello
I find the following very annoying:
if a file is under version control (RCS) and if the file
contains vc-headers at the beginning of the buffer, like
%% $Id: regul.tex,v 1.2 2011/09/26 15:12:52 oub Exp $
%% $Log: regul.tex,v $
Then when I checkin the cursor always lands at the beginning
of the buffer, of course I could put in more of these fields
but in any case this jump is annoying. Does anybody know how
to deactivate this feature?
It seems to me that it always goes to the beginning of the file, even if
you have
the rcs keywords at the end of the file. And if you don't have any
keywords, the cursor stays in the same place.
It's been a while since I've used this, but I think this is a change. The
cursor didn't used to move when you C-x v v to checkin a file.
