The name `incoming' has traditionally been used to name
anonymously-writable directories at ftp sites. Since the climate of
trust on the Net has sadly changed for the worse, public ftp sites can
no longer provide such directories. So the name is no longer a good
one.
At Ben's suggestion, I have renamed the directory to `experimental',
since that seems to better describe its contents.
I've also created a beta/tmp directory that I personally use when
uploading new betas. I completely upload all the files for a beta to
tmp, then move them pretty much instantaneously to beta/xemacs-21.2.
This avoids problems with people accidentally downloading a beta while
I'm still uploading it. Vin and Andreas, if you ever have too much
free time on your hands, you might consider implementing the same
thing. See `xre' in the xemacs-builds module.
