I will assume you meant to say 'cannot'... I haven't been able to figure
this one out - if you select with the keyboard, you can paste into another
application, but the mouse buttons seem to be braindamaged. I haven't dug
very far into the new selection code that is in 21.2, but I imagine there
is a trivial fix for this somewhere in the guts of select.el (or it may be
a f-up on my part in my event construction, but it worked in 21.1...)

the menu buttons dont work
most of the toolbar buttons dont work
the error it comes up with is
Symbol's function definition is void: gtk-make-dialog-box-internal
This should be fixed in the latest CVS.
