Darryl I noticed some problems with installing auctex, sound-au, and locale via pui-list-packages. I run with the latest SUMO package-get-base.el from ftp.xemacs.org:/pub/xemacs/packages/ and have package-get-remote set to (("ftp.xemacs.org" "/pub/xemacs/packages") ("ftp.xemacs.org" "/pub/xemacs/beta/xemacs-21.0/packages/binary-packages") ("ftp.xemacs.org" "/pub/xemacs/beta/xemacs-21.0/packages/single-file-packages") ("ftp.xemacs.org" "/pub/xemacs/package")) Here are the problems: ------ AUCTEX ------ Install these packages? NB: I had both sounds-wav and sounds-au installed in <package-dir>/etc from older experiments. ------- GENERAL ------- After installing auctex 1.12 it still shows up as 1.9 in *Packages*. sounds-au does not show to be installed, even though it is.
