We listen to rants (if they're not too noisy) as well as polite comments, but in the end it's developer-driven. We don't have a marketing department phoning us up twice a day, and nobody gets paid bonuses on the basis of user feedback forms---in fact, there's no systematic attempt to collect them, at the moment. A "screen shot" of a UI mockup might be nice, even if you can't do the code. Alternatively, screenshots of particularly ugly breakage.
