No, the end conclusion was, "When is the patch forthcoming?"
People have a finite amount of time, they do what they think is
important. We listen to rants (if they're not too noisy) as well as
polite comments, but in the end it's developer-driven. We don't have
a marketing department phoning us up twice a day, and nobody gets paid
bonuses on the basis of user feedback forms---in fact, there's no
systematic attempt to collect them, at the moment.
A "screen shot" of a UI mockup might be nice, even if you can't do the
code. Alternatively, screenshots of particularly ugly breakage. The
more you do for us, the more likely someone is to say "hey, that's
easy enough, I'll finish it."
