To be honest I just assumed, such a fool I am, that the cvs activity, the package overhaul and the breakage had something to do with each other. Possibly I also had some vague memory of the "major overhaul of package Makefiles" blurring things for me. (I think I remember thinking that this will be interesting when it is checked in ;-) On the other hand, simply put, this is a bug report. The build breaks. It needs to be fixed. Yours -- %% Mats
