Blues is even the spiritual *father* of New Orleans which is in turn
the ancestor of all forms of modern jazz. I'm not sure if Zeppelin itself is a
father of something, though ;-)
And to satisfy the frustrated beta-rockers I heard, lemme just tell
you that many contemporary jazz guitarists have been influenced by Jimmy
Hendrix too.
