How's this for a compromise?
I'll withdraw my veto and apply your patch. But I'd like it if you
could at least consider converting info-look to using extents instead
of overlays. If you don't want to, that's cool, I'll still apply your
patch.
I just think that we should be using our extents api whenever possible
instead of overlays. Now there's a nice little job for some
conscientious hacker, getting rid of overlays from all the XEmacs
packages.:-)
Anyway, thanks for your contributions, Christoph, I really do
appreciate them.
