Re: paren highlighting: highlighted parenthesis stays highlighted

I activated paren highlighting in ~/.emacs: (paren-set-mode 'paren) So, while going through a buffer (e.g. Emacs Lisp mode, Scheme mode) with M-right to jump to the end of the a sexp the matching opening paren will be highlighted. When I jump to the next sexp using M-right this opening paren stays highlited! So I have at two highlited opening parens... This even happens while I type this text: ( bla bla ) <- will highlight the left paren, but it stays highlited while I keep on typing or move the cursor around. Very confusing. ;) It used to work perfectly (same ~./emacs etc) with 21.4.9.
