Hi everyone:
using xdg-mime I set my applications to eog for images of png type and
gnuclient for text plain type.
I test them using xdg-open from xemacs shell and it works fine
xdg-open, not gvfs-open?
then from a program I'm writing, I call start-process on some
example
files. The text file still works
but the png file does nothing.
What does `(getenv "XDG_DATA_HOME")' say? What does "echo
$XDG_DATA_HOME" say in a shell?
As an aside, when displaying the text file, at the top of the
frame, there is a blue "Done" button, but when I hit it, it kills
ALL my gnuclient frames rather than just the one displaying the
file.
It only deletes the one frame for me. What version of XEmacs are you
using? How do you arrange to have multiple gnuclient frames?
