I too prefer pcl-cvs. I'm currently synching our (XEmacs) version
with Greg Woods' pcl-cvs 2.0b2 and adding several features. This will
likely take me another couple weeks. Greg Woods has indicated that he
will fold my changes back into his sources and then will officially
release pcl-cvs 2.0. I'm currently committing to the repository on
cvs.xemacs.org so if you want a look you can.
Eventually I hope to get it working on NT too, though I do not
actually use NT so I'll need some help there.
