gutter/tab display oddity, then crash

env as in: http://www.xemacs.org/list-archives/xemacs-beta/200003/msg00021.html but 21.2b32, CVS update this AM crashes have decreased significantly since the recent fixes, but I'm still occasionally (once/day?) seeing things like this: or... followed by a crash (often before I can start snapshot, rubberband the region, and grab it) the only stack trace I have is from one of the crashes before the recent fixes (I tried running optimized for a while after the fixes), so I'm thinking that would only confuse matters - so I'll wait until I get a new one to pass on... -- John A.
