Actually, I do run Fedora Rawhide inside a virtual machine on my
Fedora 10 desktop. Sorry, I've only been half paying attention to the
list. Is there something I need to check?
If you're interested, help would be welcome with this:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=489145
xemacs-21.5.28-11.fc11 reportedly crashes at startup in GUI mode.
xemacs-21.5.28-12.fc11 doesn't but outputs string to fontset conversion
warnings. The only difference between -11.fc11 and -12.fc11 is that the
former is built --with-xfs, ther latter not as an immediate band-aid to get a
startable XEmacs in the hands of Rawhide users. (-12.fc11 can be rebuilt
with XFontSet support using "--with xfs" rpmbuild/mock option.)
Some info later received in the bug indicates that at least some of this might
be an issue in or caused by the newly introduced libX11 1.2.
Thanks in advance!
