Stallman has granted a special exception for motif. I'm not even
sure it is that 'official'. Its more of a look-the-other-way.
Plus there is LessTif. Now that the harmony project is dead, there
is no equivalent for Qt.
the situation of motif on, e.g., a HP box to me looks similar to the
situation of Qt on, say a Corel distribution, or whatever ships those
libs with their distributions --- or someone please explain the
differences
