Ar an seachtú lá is fiche de mí Bealtaine, scríobh Vin Shelton:
Ahhh, if only it were so:
cvs -d :ext:unwelcome-guest@cvs.debian.org:/cvs/xemacs status
Warning: Permanently added the RSA host key for IP address
'217.196.43.140' to the list of known hosts.
Permission denied (publickey).
cvs [status aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
Shouldn't pserver access work? If we use ext, don't we all need to
have keys added to unwelcome-guest's keychain?
You should be able to use your Alioth username (unwelcome-guest is
Stephen’s; I have no problem using Michael Sperber’s, as we do for hg). They
have, however, needlessly and stupidly changed the path to the CVS root from
/cvsroot/xemacs to /cvs/xemacs, and I needed to do the following before a
checked-out tree would update for me:
find . -name Root | while read; do echo
':ext:sperber-guest@cvs.debian.org:/cvs/xemacs' > $REPLY; done
