Can you tell me which version including XEmacs package version?
(package-get-info 'gnus 'version)
is an easy way to get the XE package version
XEmacs is 21.4.17, and package-get-info asks me if I want to create
some sort of index in ~/.xemacs (I don't). gnus-version indicates
version 5.10.6.
