Hello, XEmacs users,
I'm finally bringing the issue tracker (tracker.xemacs.org) into the
21st century. The server is now configured to server over HTTPS,
using a Let's Encrypt certificate. Currently no SSL protocols are
configured, while TLS versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are accepted.
Over time I will try to upgrade the TLS version (ie, refuse TLS 1.0
and then TLS 1.1), as they are known to be weak. When I do, I'll make
a similar announcement.
Old URLs should continue to work, being redirected from HTTP on port
80 to HTTPS on port 443.
Feel free to report any problems to xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org or to me
personally at stephen(a)xemacs.org.

The Package Smoketest is sort of started again

Hi XEmacs,
I have started to schedule a run of the xemacs package smoketest every second hour. You'll find the result here:

It is the same old build system as before. This means that it will only build until there is one failing package. You most likely find the error message using the Tail-link which shows the last lines of the build log. It will for now only build the packages with a 21.5 tip version of the XEmacs binary since that is the only version that can, unpatched, be built on the build server.
Currently there is no mail sent so you will have to visit the web page to find out the current status.
The package build currently fails due to a missing dependency on the edebug package in the Makefile for cc-mode. So that need to be fixed. Please feel free to do that! I also believe that when that is fixed more errors will show up! ;-)

Hi,
I finally took some time to look at setting up the package smoke test again. I then got into this problem with compiling cc-mode with the tip-version of 21.5.
