Hello Please answer my question. We maked a player in Linux with Lisp languaege ,but we dont know how to make a UDP connection between our player and the server with Lisp languaege. We looked in many sources ,but we didn't attain any affects. Please say to us for making a UDP connection and geting and sending messages with that Lisp languaege which orders . Please explan with an example. Thanks Mrs Khodadadi

NEWS patch 25 years, 5 months

Pardon me for my ignorance. I'm not really sure how things are done around here. Should I send a trivial patch like the following to xemacs-patches, is this a better place for it, or is there some third list that would be most appropriate? NB: The mailing lists look completely hosed as of 07:27 UT 31-May so I have no idea what has gone into the 21.2 in the last 12 hours. I cannot duplicate this specific failure. There is a strange bug in cyrillic.el-21.2 that manifests itself by failing to bytecompile (max lisp eval depth exceeded) the very first time .elcs are built. On a subsequent pass, cyrillic.elc gets built. I have no idea whether or not this is related to my other problems. At the moment I don't have a clean build of XEmacs, either 21.1 or 21.2, on *any* platform. -- I protest the NATO war in Yugoslavia.

I have found that I cannot start an XEmacs on Sun/Solaris with Motif & XIM/Motif support *and* specify a font via X Defaults without getting a coredump deep in the initial frame initialization. Weird ... -- I protest the NATO war in Yugoslavia.

As near as I can tell, there is severe brokenness in XEmacs in Digital Unix. It happens to show up most clearly when compiling with Mule, but I have no reason to believe that it is Mule-specific. I am currently running a binary on OSF 4.0e and many things work and some things don't work. What is your configuration? I've attached mine.
