You have procmail-like features for pop email retrieval? Gimme, gimme,
gimme :-) (pretty please).
Not really like procmail but does allow me to selectively pull stuff from a
pop server based on a regexp. I'll post the patches.

As far as I can remember from last time I looked, vm-pop has the
following that are lacking in pop3.el:
allows specifying of email size limits
progress indicator
cacheing of UID's to allow for deleting mail later
So If I was to produce a unified pop should it take pop3 as the substrate
or vm-pop?
