Hrvoje's patch reenables the deadly sin of modifying the User's
.emacs, it does not change the behavior that if `custom-file' has been
changed from the default it will not be loaded by XEmacs at startup.
We're really going to have to fix this sometime. Writing into .emacs
is suboptimal. As people start to adopt ~/.xemacs/ to put personal
lisp packages in maybe it will be feasible to make a migration.
