FROM: Ms Titi Kabila
Marble Palace Kinshasa
Democratic Republic of Congo
Dear sir,
It is with heart full of sorrow that I write seeking your help in this hour of distress,
following the sudden loss of my husband. I am the mistress of late Congolese President
Laurent Desire Kabila, who was shot dead on Tuesday 16th January 2001 during an attempted
coup d'etat. I had for him a daughter and a son.
Having sourced your address from one of the directories kept in the family library, I have
no doubt of your capability and competence to assist me in receiving into your custody
(for safety purpose) the sum of US$38 million (Thirty Eight Million Dollars) left behind
by the late President Kabila for the upkeep of my self and the children before his
untimely demise.
Due to the activities of Ugandan and Rwandan backed rebels who have been fighting to
topple his government the money was kept away in a trust deposit account with a West
African sub regional Finance Company, one of the countries that enjoys relative stability
in Africa.
As it is, all his business interest are being co-ordinate by a Nigerian based, proxy in
the name of (Anthony Williamson ESQ) whom as a matter of fact furnished me with further
details of the deposit as the news of his death became public.
Following the proxy's disclosure, it became imperative that I move the money urgently
into the oversea account of a foreigner due to the matrimonial rift between my self and
the mother of his eldest son Joseph Kabila the new incumbent head of state who might in
the event of discovery of the money confiscate it.
To buttress this fact, Joseph Kabila upon assumption of office as the interim Head of
State, moved my family out of the Marble Palace (Presidential Mansion) and seized our
traveling documents. The situation is becoming rather unbearable for the children and me
as we are now living in isolation and under strict surveillance on flimsy excuse that
everybody is a suspect.
In view of the prevailing situation, it is my candid wish and request for you to liaise
with the proxy. Anthony Williamson Esq., to facilitate the immediate evacuation of the
said sum to an account you will recommend to him as the proxy has every detail. I have
absolute confidence on him. I expect you to be honest, trust worthy and kind enough to
reply to this clarion call in order to save us from a helpless future. I implore you to
reach the proxy. Anthony Williamson ESQ of e-mail: anwilli(a)email.com
As soon as the situation here improves I will devise a means to be in constant
communication with you and possibly arrange for our meeting. I hereby authorize the proxy
to enter into negotiation with you so as to ensure that you receive adequate compensation
for your possible assistance.
Remain blessed.
Titi Kabila.
