Please describe as succinctly as possible:
- What happened.
- What you thought should have happened.
- Precisely what you were doing at the time.
I am using a precompiled xemacs from SuSE 8.0.
The version is XEmacs 21.4 (patch 4) "Artificial Intelligence" [Lucid]
(i386-suse-linux, Mule) of Mon Mar 25 2002 on amdsim3.
When I try to export the xemacs to an SGI, IRIX 6.5.15, with the DISPLAY set to
machine:0.0, I get the following error messages.
xemacs: X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter
attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 55 (X_CreateGC)
Serial number of failed request: 236
Current serial number in output stream: 337

The xemacs windows appears, but without any menu.
Is there a way I can use the xemacs via the network?
Thanks in advance,
Nils Braun
