Thanks for the report; I think I can just revert my patch, though.
I'll have to think about this; the underscore looks ugly in Lisp even
if it doesn't appear very often.
As for the require, I'll have to play with that; ISTR that when I
first did this, XEmacs couldn't find the module run-in-place without
the subdir.
