Hello Greg,
meanwhile I have verified that your patch arrived intact in
http://www.xemacs.org/list-archives/xemacs-patches/9810/msg00076.html
as well as in my company-imposed Lotus Notes (Yuck!) Inbox.
So the folding of lines must occur when I pop the mail off the POP3
Lotus Notes server to my Windows NT PC running (emacs-version) "XEmacs
21.0 \"Pyrenean-pre6\" [Lucid] (i386-pc-win32) of Mon Oct 19 1998 on
TWILIGHT"
with (gnus-version) "Gnus v5.6.44".

These both looked OK although I had to manually decode the temporary
files after extraction of the MIME attachments failed due to the
absence of tm-file under natively built XEmacs on Windows NT4sp3.
Regards,
Adrian
