Have you tried to do create a new buffer, enter some text so that is a
candidate for saving and then do save-some-buffers? {C-x s}. When I
pressed ! when prompted if I wanted to save the buffer I got an error
"Type C-h for help." suggesting that the exclamation mark now wasn't
recognised. (I have to press shift to get to the exclamation mark as
most querty users I guess. Could there be some conflict here with
using shift in other places?)
Yeah, I can reproduce that..... The ! seems to work in other places, but
not in the save-some-buffers command.
I was really hoping this would work so I wouldn't have to patch every
version of xemacs I use :(
