find-function-noselect blindly strips the last four characters from

Three points:
1) For a patch to be accepted to the distribution, you need to mail it
to <xemacs-patches(a)xemacs.org>. This should probably be added to
FAQ;
2) Compiled function annotations are disabled by default in XEmacs
21.0, so the patch has little relevance on the new release;
3) Your patch is still not the right thing -- the code in question
should just use `file-name-sans-extension'.
