Yeah I saw that one, but picked up IspellWin32 and that did not work
at all. Xemacs reports an error
" ispell version 3 revision 3.1.12 required."
I'll give the one you suggest a try.
Hello Edgardo,
I am a user of cygwin aspell under Windows XP native XEmacs.
cd c:\Users\AichnerAd\
aspell -v
Compilation started at Sun Jun 24 10:35:15 2007 +0200 (W. Europe Daylight Time)
@(#) International Ispell Version 3.1.20 (but really Aspell 0.50.3)
Compilation finished at Sun Jun 24 10:35:15
cd c:\Users\AichnerAd\
uname -a
Compilation started at Sun Jun 24 10:35:49 2007 +0200 (W. Europe Daylight Time)
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 Tang 1.5.19(0.150/4/2) 2006-01-20 13:28 i686 Cygwin
Compilation finished at Sun Jun 24 10:35:50
Following are my (custom-set-variables ...) ispell customization from
.emacs translated to setq forms manually:
(setq ispell-program-name "aspell")
(setq ispell-skip-region-alist '((ispell-words-keyword forward-line)
(ispell-dictionary-keyword forward-line)
(ispell-pdict-keyword forward-line)
(ispell-parsing-keyword forward-line)
("^---*BEGIN PGP [A-Z ]*--*" . "^---*END PGP [A-Z ]*--*")
("^---* \\(Start of \\)?[Ff]orwarded [Mm]essage" . "^---* End of
[Ff]orwarded [Mm]essage")
("\\(/\\|\\(\\(\\w\\|-\\)+[.:@]\\)\\)\\(\\w\\|-\\)*\\([.:/@]+\\(\\w\\|-\\|~\\)+\\)+")
("@\\w+")
("\\b\\(and\\|catch\\|cond\\|condition-case\\|defconst\\|defmacro\\|defun\\|defvar\\|function\\|if\\|interactive\\|let\\|or\\|prog[12n]\\|quote\\|save-current-buffer\\|save-excursion\\|save-restriction\\|save-selected-window\\|save-window-excursion\\|setq\\|setq-default\\|unwind-protect\\|while\\|with-output-to-temp-buffer\\)\\b")))
I mostly use ispell-region, ispell-word, as well as flyspell (in erc
and mail buffers) and all works well.
Best regards!
Adrian
Thanks.
