I think this is very important. Setting up efs is not always easy,
especially if you're behind a firewall[1]. But almost all companies have
an http proxy to let people go out and get stuff.
Right now I have to manually ftp packages, so I just usually end up ftp'ing
the entire packages directory because it's too much work to update
just the packages I want.

[1] Our kerberos access, which I could never get to work with efs, is
being phased out with an ftp proxy. However, efs won't work with
that because the ftp proxy requires a user id/password to get
access to the proxy. Then you need a user id/password for the
site you're going to. So, I'm still stuck with having to ftp
everything manually.
