At present we don't provide any binaries except for the Windows
platforms; we lack the staff to coordinate such an effort.
The current "gamma" version (see
http://www.xemacs.org/Releases/ for
our definition of "gamma") is 21.4.4. This is quite stable and 64-bit
clean; if you build on a 64-bit platform, you should have no problems.
I believe that the internal EMACS_INT typedef used for almost all
integral quantities is 64 bits on the Ultrasparc, meaning that you can
have terabyte buffers etc.
