Well, under certain circumstances. I guessed what the problem was from the error message. I have internalBorderWidth set to 0 in my resources, because I like to have as much desktop space as possible. 21.2beta28 didn't mind this. In fact, I've been using it for years. Now, 21.2beta32 doesn't like this at all. Here is an example of running XEmacs from the shell: sag3 $ echo 'Emacs*internalBorderWidth: 0' | xrdb -merge sag3 $ DISPLAY=malaria:0.0 src/xemacs Error: Widget clip-window has zero width and/or height sag3 $ echo 'Emacs*internalBorderWidth: 2' | xrdb -merge sag3 $ src/xemacs sag3 $ As you can see, a positive internalBorderWidth works just fine, but zero no longer works. Unfortunately, I cannot find this text anywhere in the code, so I am having a very hard time tracking it down. -- Colin
