I successfully installed these earlier tonight:
Ville, the ediff-vers miscompile is still around with this upgrade of
ediff and vc.
When I just byte-compile-file ediff-vers.el, then the 'state' variable
error goes away.

I successfully installed these earlier tonight:
Ville, the ediff-vers miscompile is still around with this upgrade of
ediff and vc.
When I just byte-compile-file ediff-vers.el, then the 'state' variable
error goes away.
Hmph. I suppose the attached patch to ediff would help, although I haven't
tested it. Thoughts?
