Dear Bug Team --
When I install xemacs and xemacs-sumo on Arch Linux using
pacman -S xemacs
pacman -S xemacs-sumo
the default installation of xemacs crashes on exit.
The following is a transcript of all information that
you have requested. I spoke with JackaLX in #xemacs on
freenode, and he provided some excellent information on
what I needed to do to gather this information.

This bug is here, not in XEmacs. See PROBLEMS for workarounds (they
involve rebuilding Motif from source, though).

They were changed many months ago. Possibly this got regressed in the
move to autoconf 2.59, or it may be a bug in sjt-xft's GUI detection
logic. If it's the latter, it won't get fixed until the merge to
mainline unless somebody other than me does it, the workaround is too
easy.

Try forcing widgets and dialogs to 'athena'. Motif is not and will
not be supported in the sjt-xft branch.
