all mounts are binary
In trying to use mingw32 (gcc -mno-cygwin) to compile XEmacs, I ran into
the following behaviour with bash.
If I use 'bash' as 'sh' it fails to run the configure script with an error
of
"./configure: cannot create temp file for here document: Permission denied"
