Greetings Ville and Michael! Here's the backtrace: Using ediff-vers.el instead of ediff-vers.elc is a good workaround for me for now. This is a macro miscompile which should go away once unsupported/scop/vc/ replaces xemacs-package/vc and ediff-vers.el does (require 'vc-hooks). ediff/Makefile should probably add vc to REQUIRES as well (even pcs-cvs is there). Ville, isn't unsupported/scop/vc/ getting close to replace xemacs-package/vc ? I have been using it for a while too.
